About Ingrid
I am a vocalist originally from the Blue Mountains NSW. I have been teaching students for over 10 years but have also spent a lot of time finding my own musical voice.
I have performed both solo and in bands and love playing and collaborating with other musicians. My biggest strength is my voice and I am passionate about vocal harmony and finding self through improvisation - I just love having fun when I’m singing!
The biggest hope for my students is that they come to love music as much as I do. I have watched students develop their confidence in amazing ways and I love creating a space where we can both nurture the development of their own musicality.
In my study at the University of Wollongong, one of my main focuses was on songwriting and I have been able to foster this side in my students too if this is something that interests them. I aim to encourage all forms of expression in my sessions and want to make sure we are all having a good time while we sing!

I am a singing teacher originally from the Blue Mountains NSW who is now based in Darwin and have been performing professionally for over a decade.
I appreciate that everybody has a unique voice and my goal is to inspire and train anyone who would like to learn. I not only want to get the best sound out of my students but also be able to nurture their confidence as they explore their own musicality.
Having completed a Bachelor of music at the University of Wollongong, trained as a vocal student myself and been a performer and a front woman in my own band I feel I have the necessary skills and techniques that allow me to be a great teacher.
I am passionate about teaching and have had 10+ years of experience teaching students across Sydney, Wollongong and the Blue Mountains. Each lesson will be tailored to suit the student’s musical or creative journey in a space that is comfortable and fun. Lessons will cover tone, technique, harmony, breath control, annunciation, phrasing, diction and intonation. Though lesson plans will change depending on the student’s needs and processes.
