About Ellie
I am a qualified education support worker, having worked with a number of students of primary age in both literacy and maths support intervention programs. Working both one on one and in small groups I have seen the positive difference my work has had on individuals learning and confidence with their learning. I have experience working with students of various intellectual and learning disabilities and understand the differentiation required to achieve learning outcomes.

Working with students and helping them to succeed is something I hold a great passion for. By first building a relationship with students I find I have been able to enable the confidence in their abilities to break through their learning barriers. The initial few lessons are important in establishing a level of learning the student is comfortable to start at, as well as for establishing the style and teaching method needed for the individual. I believe creating an interesting and differentiated learning environment is key to keeping students engaged in their learning.
My lessons are targeted towards younger students of primary level particularly those with learning difficulties in literacy such as reading, writing and spelling.
