About Chevelle
I am a law student who has studied criminal law and Justice for over 5 years. As my parents were hosts to international students, I would use my spare time to teach these students English. I am a passionate humanitarian and believe in helping, guiding and encouraging individuals to reach their full potential.
In 2018 I spent a month in Thailand working with a foundation which allowed me to work within a school teaching English to Thai students and this was the most enjoyable and rewarding experience of my life. I am looking forward to extending these types of experiences in my work here.
I am very much looking forward to meeting potential students and sharing my knowledge as well as learning from others.

In general I like to get to know my students initially so I may gain understanding of how they learn best or how we understand each other. I believe in verbal communication, visual and oral methods of teaching, however I am willing and able to create flexible lesson plans based on the individual. I have worked with people of all types of learning abilities and specifically have experience working with students with autism. I take a gentle and patient approach with all students and ensure we are on the same page at all times.
