Yes! And that’s exactly why I started teaching.
Hi there! I’m Udita, the 12-year-old creator, maker, and yarn-lover behind KnottyU!
My journey with crochet started with a ball of yarn, a simple hook, and a big imagination. Before I knew it, my room became a colorful universe filled with handmade plushies, cozy coasters, and cute keychains. For me, crochet isn't just a hobby - it’s like magic. You start with a single string of thread, and with an hour or two and love, you turn it into a real-life toy you can hold!
I want to show other kids, teens, and adults that you don't need to be grown up or have years of art school to create something incredibly beautiful. If my small hands can do it, yours can too!
Fun Facts About Me:
My Favorite Thing to Make: Amigurumi (which is just a fancy Japanese word for super-cute, stuffed crochet stuff!).
My Teaching Superpower: I am fluent in English, Hindi, and Marathi! So we can chat, laugh, and learn in whichever language feels like a warm hug to you.
When I'm Not Crocheting: I'm usually dreaming up new designs and choosing the fluffiest pastel yarns, or having fun in my gymnastics, crafting, drawing, playing - and umm school... I'm good at that too!
I know that learning something new can feel a little knotty at first, but I promise to be the most patient, cheerful, and encouraging teacher you’ll ever have. Let’s grab some yarn, get cozy, and make something awesome together!

Welcome to KnottyU Crochet in 30!
Whether you have never held a crochet hook before or want to master the art of creating your own adorable plushies (amigurumi), you are in the right place.
Crafting should be fun, relaxing, and completely stress-free. As a 12-year-old who taught herself to master the art of crochet, I know exactly what parts can feel tricky or confusing when you are just starting out. Because of this, my teaching style is incredibly patient, visual, and broken down into simple, bite-sized steps that anyone can follow. I don't just teach you how to follow a pattern—I teach you how to understand the rhythm of the yarn.
Every session is structured to make sure you finish with a sense of achievement: The Warm-Up (5 mins), Technique Breakdown (15 mins), Hands-On Crafting (30 mins), Show & Tell + Q&A (10 mins)
