Having knowing Nik throughout GCSEs, A-levels and now university, I have witnessed first-hand his hard work, organisation and diligence when it comes to preparing for exams and engaging with course material- usually beyond the curriculum. Often when revising together, encountering any difficulty with the theory or questions, he works through the issue in a Socratic manner: questioning the data giving and proposing lines of attack to elucidate our position, a method he exhibited when tutoring mandarin and maths to other students while in Sixth form.
