I have tutored on and off for 5 years.
I have a Bachelor of Education and currently teach grade 4 in Calgary.
I teach in a Spanish-English bilingual school, where students must learn in both languages.
I have also previously tutored students in Biology and Spanish.

I use a variety of teaching strategies in mathematics that allow for students to learn flexibility of numbers, through number sense.
A typical lesson will be approximately 45-60 minutes with the following: Review of concepts, introduction of new concept, guided practice, independent practice, and finally putting all knowledge together.
My lessons are tailored to grade 4-6 students.
