About Sahara
Hi, I'm Sahara and I'm currently a student at university. Being an Architecture student has further developed my mathematical skills beyond an A-level standard specifically in geometry, mechanics and algebra. I chose this degree significantly due to my passion for maths. This is displayed when I tutor, due to how engaged I am in aiding the students in their development. In GCSE maths I obtained a grade 9 and in A-level I achieved an A. A-level maths taught me the multiple different approaches to maths, not only in questions but also in how its taught, having observed this from my teachers I also use these methods in my tutoring and aim to be adapting to how each student learns.

My approach to tutoring is student based. Each lesson would be adapted to the student's current needs whilst working at their pace and in conjunction to their school’s pace. Any confusion on lesson content or homework content can be explained and worked through with further questions and examples. Each lesson can vary in length dependent on the student but I’d recommend 45-60 minutes. I have previously volunteered tutoring maths in a primary school learning vital adaptability skills. My lessons would ideally be for GCSE level and age or younger.
