About Vartan
I am an Armenian American with parents who are both university professors. From a young age I was made aware of not just how important education is, but how unfair and inaccessible it can be for people who lack the economic or social capability to provide a stellar learning experience. Over the last few years I have known more and more that teaching is what i see for my future, but as I am finishing University eristy myself, tutoring is a fantastic way to gain experience while keeping a flexible schedule.
I have taught lessons regarding English, Sciences and Math, and writing to students of varying ages in both the US and Asia. I am incredibly passionate about the development of the younger generations, and find fulfillment in helping students find the tools they need to develop and grow into the people they aim to be.

My lessons are mainly focused on the completion of coursework, but with full understanding of the regarded theory. I feel that too often students aim to get work finished, but struggle to fully comprehend the greater concept. Sessions include periods of work, discussion and reflection. My lesson are aimed towards high school age students, but am more than willing to accommodate middle school math, science and writing.
