About Lewis
I graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2022 with a degree in Finance. During my time in college, I tutored and helped students in high school in math classes from freshman to their senior year. After working in banking for 2 years, I realized I missed teaching and the most logical next step for me was to become a full-time teacher!

I am certified to teach Math for grades 7th-12th and currently am teaching Algebra and Geometry at a high school in the north Austin area. With experience teaching several different types of learners, I have learned to navigate the best possible approaches to teaching any student.
Before teaching a student I like to first see ahead of time the types of problems that they are working on as well as an emphasis on the problems that they have been struggling with. This allows me to best prepare an individualized lesson not only to teach the material but allow for student retention on the vital parts of each lesson.
