About Ashlyn G
I attended high school in Arizona, excelling in all subjects and completing my education with a 4.4 weighted GPA. I have always enjoyed learning new languages, and loved everything which my Spanish classes had to offer. With Hispanic heritage, it was especially important to me to develop my skills in the language. Through high school, I was a mathematics tutor for all levels of high school math, ranging to pre-calculus. I loved interacting with students as they developed their knowledge of new content. I am currently a college freshman at Arizona State University, pursuing a degree in Nursing.

I provide personalized Spanish lessons for high school students! I can tutor in levels 1 through 4 for high school Spanish, and feel that I bring a new level of compassion to the tutoring world. Prior to logging onto our online sessions, I will ask for the topics or general skills being studied, and be prepared with personalized worksheets and a plan to assess skills beforehand. After practice, I will consider the best teaching methods for a particular student and proceed by assigning short homework for practice. As a tutor and graduated student, I understand the pressures of high school and that not every student learns in the same way. I hope to redefine your student’s relationship with learning and practicing the language, as we identify a specific method useful for them and their learning style.
