About Amritha
Hi there! I'm Amritha, and I'm a medical student at the University of Western Australia (UWA). I'm currently in my third year (out of 4) and I'm loving it! As you can imagine, one of the reasons I chose to study medicine is because I love science, especially biology. I find it such a joy to learn, and one of my favourite ways of learning even more about the subject is teaching it!
I can understand that studying biology may seem daunting, but it's all about having a strong foundation and building on that at a pace that you are comfortable with. My lessons are all about how you like to learn and making you confident in your own knowledge!

Lessons will always be at the level of understanding of the student, and will cover essential topics in their curriculum.
My approach to teaching is to allow the student to let me know where their points of weakness are, such that I can structure the lesson in a way that addresses them.
I have extensive knowledge in life sciences and biology, and a keen interest in the subject which I hope I can pass onto my students!
I teach students from Year 7 to 10. Lessons typically last around 60-90 minutes, depending on the preference of the student.
