About Amy
I'm currently in my second year of Graduate-entry medicine at City St George's, University of London, having previously completed a degree in BSc Clinical Pharmacology (1st Class Honours). I also have A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry, and Drama.
My passion for medicine started at around 16 when I decided I wanted to be a doctor. I understand first-hand how challenging and competitive the application process can be, and how difficult it can be to balance A-levels or undergraduate studies alongside admissions tests such as the UCAT and GAMSAT, as well as interview preparation.
I love tutoring and teaching other students! Alongside my studies, I have developed extensive teaching experience. I deliver regular teaching sessions on my undergraduate course (Clinical Pharmacology), covering topics including clinical skills, laboratory techniques, drug development, and disease pathophysiology. I have also supported mock MMI medicine and dentistry interviews as an examiner for final-year students, helping them refine their communication and critical thinking skills. I am also currently a clinical skills tutor on the medicine course - teaching clinical skills to students in 1st and 2nd years.
I am passionate about teaching and supporting students to achieve their goals. Whether you are aiming for top grades, preparing for medical school applications, or just looking for some support to build confidence, I would love to help!

I offer structured, student-centred lessons in Biology, UCAT, GAMSAT, and MMI preparation, tailored to each student’s goals and learning style. My teaching approach focuses on building strong conceptual understanding first, followed by exam-focused strategies, active recall, and regular practice questions. I also use worked examples, timed exercises, and feedback to improve confidence and performance.
Lessons typically last 45–60 minutes, depending on the student’s needs. I tutor GCSE, A-level, undergraduate, and graduate-entry medicine applicants, including mature students.
I am able to support students with exam technique, revision, and planning, as well as preparing interview skills for competitive university places - using my experience as an examiner on mock medicine interview panels.
