I personally believe that every student has their own difficulties and challenges that they face. When I start my first lesson with the student, it is a practice that I get to know the student and walk thru on the different types of difficulties that they face. I work together with the student to form small realistic goals in order to achieve great results. I prepare my own set of notes and worksheets for the students topic wise and also based on their difficulties. At the end of each topic the student will be given a short formative assessment to check on their understanding and also to have a check if I could move on to the next topic.
