About Ben
I am a junior pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences with a minor in Medicine. I currently maintain a 3.85 GPA while taking upwards of 18 credits per semester, giving me a strong academic foundation in the sciences and experience managing a demanding course load. My coursework has required me to develop a strong understanding of subjects including chemistry, anatomy, physiology, and math, while also learning how to apply that knowledge rather than simply memorize it. As a college student who has recently worked through these subjects myself, I understand the areas where students commonly get stuck and the importance of building understanding one step at a time.

My approach to tutoring is centered around patience, understanding, and meeting students where they are. I know that not every student learns the same way, so I try to explain concepts in different ways until we find an approach that makes sense to them. Rather than simply giving students the answer, I want to help them understand the "why" behind what they are learning and build the confidence to work through problems on their own. Whether a student is struggling with the basics, needs help preparing for an exam, or just wants extra practice, I aim to create a comfortable environment where they can ask questions without feeling embarrassed or judged. My goal is to make difficult material feel more manageable and help students develop ways of thinking about the content that works for them.
