About Jake
I am a Leading Teacher with 9 years experience, teaching maths and other subjects.
I have worked with students across all year levels and all learning levels. I have helped students achieve at various levels including enrolment in select entry schools/programs, high study scores, general numeracy confidence and foundational numeracy skill development.
I have worked with numerous students who are neurodivergent and have developed resources specific to each individuals needs.
Although I am happy to work with anyone from a P-12 level, I do specialise in working with students Years 5-10.
I am local to the Geelong/Surf Coast area.
I am available Monday from 4:30pm & Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday from 5:00pm

Every student has different needs to maximise their numeracy learnings. The lessons I deliver, look to identify these needs as quickly as possible.
Once these needs have been identified I will then deliver engaging and specifically targeted lessons that target these needs.
My knowledge on strategies and interventions is vast so no two lessons may be the same. I look to set students up with the resources, skills and strategies that they can then take and apply themselves in the classroom and everyday life.
Ultimately, my goal is to get the student to no longer need my help.
