About Alex
I am a university student studying Materials Science at the University of Oxford. My favourite subjects in school were Maths, Physics, and Chemistry, and I have also tutored some of my peers through their qualifications in these subjects. I am enthusiastic about STEM and I like being able to help younger students through parts of their courses that I struggled with myself.

Rather than focusing on memory, I like to teach fundamentals which can be both applied and worked out in an exam/assessment. This is better for long term retention of information and provides a strong foundation for further learning.
Lessons last around 1 hour but can be longer or shorter where preferred, and are targeted at those sitting GCSEs or A-levels (Y10-Y13).
