About Laura
I just graduated from the University of Pennsylvania where I competed as a cross-country and track athlete. I double majored in biochemistry and biophysics and obtained an accelerated masters in Chemistry.
In this community, I learned to be collaborative with my teammates and the power of working through problems as a group. This tactic is one that I will employ in my lessons.
I am currently a PhD student at the University of Chicago studying Development, Regeneration and Stem Cell Biology. I love learning and hope to help you do so too.

Able to provide hands-on tutoring for middle and high school students looking to advance their understanding of biology, chemistry, physics, and mathematics.
My time in high school is still relatively recent so I understand the pressures and stresses associated with high school classes, including AP courses. As a student in two different top collegiate institutions (UPenn and UChicago) I am aware of the level of preparation needed for higher education.
Lesson plans will focus on problem-solving and working through questions and problem sets critically.
