About Kohl
I have three years of experience tutoring math, physics, chemistry, and standardized tests. I have worked previously in a classroom and continue to learn every day from my professors and peers.
I have a 4.0 GPA after four semesters of university, graduated from Stuyvesant High School in New York City with advanced regents honors in science and math, and got a 1570 on the SAT in 2023.
I have received multiple awards within the college of science at RIT including a physics-specific scholarship and an award for outstanding work as a teaching assistant.

In physics, I focus on a real-world approach.
Learning physics means gaining the language for phenomena which you already knew about because you are a human who lives on Earth.
I may ask you to get up from your chair and move around to observe the forces on your body, to bounce a ball against the wall, or to rub a balloon against your hair. Physics is everywhere, and applying it to your own life in memorable experiences is the best way to learn!
