About Ben
Hi, my name is Ben and I’m a current primary school teacher based in Sydney with experience supporting students across a range of learning abilities and confidence levels.
I offer personalized tutoring for students in Years 2–6 in English, literacy and math, with a strong focus on building confidence, engagement and positive learning habits. I understand that every child learns differently, so I aim to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, developing their skills and growing in confidence.
My tutoring sessions are tailored to each student’s individual needs and can include:
• Literacy and reading comprehension
• Math support and problem solving
• Writing and grammar
• Homework support and study skills
• Preparation for classroom assessments and tests
As a current teacher working within Sydney schools, I value creating lessons that are both structured and engaging while helping students feel supported in their learning. My goal is not only to help students improve academically, but also to help them become more confident and independent learners.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes and are available both online and in-person depending on location and availability. While I am open to online tutoring, I believe many students benefit most from in-person learning where stronger engagement, communication and support can be developed.

While I am open to online tutoring, I believe students often get the most out of their learning through in-person sessions where stronger engagement, communication and support can be built.
