The importance of tutoring is to provide the support needed to understand the material as well as build confidence in a tutee. I come with an open-minded listening approach, where I assess students needs based on what they need during that sessions. A typical lesson plan includes reviewing the material, practicing together, and then ultimately having the student practice on their own and review to check for comprehension. I am not here just to provide you with the understanding of mathematics, but to help with study skills and confidence in your classes.
