My teaching methodology involves understanding students' current knowledge level, learning style, and goals. I begin my tutoring services by assessing the student's current understanding of the subject and identifying their strengths and weaknesses as well as their goals. Understanding this helps me create customised lesson plans to meet their needs and create an interactive and fun learning environment to ensure my students are engaged. The typical length of a lesson is around 1 hour, however, I ensure that I take into account the student's attention span and age to ensure they are keeping engaged throughout the whole lesson. Typically, for younger students, incorporating small breaks during the session where they can engage in interactive learning activities such as maths games ensures they are engaged throughout the whole lesson. I've gained experience working in tutoring centres. My tutoring services are for K-6 students and year 7 and 8 students needing help with math.
