About Alexandra
Hi, I'm a current degree student at the University of Exeter. I'm looking to take on some tutoring students during the summer while I am home from university. I study combined honours History and Mathematics, with a focus on medieval / early modern british and Chinese history. I'd love to engage with young students during my time off, reinforcing learning over the summer break and preparing you for your next year of school.

Working through practice questions and mastering effective exam technique is imperitive to doing well in school. I focus on working through problems as a team with the student until they're confident tackling questions themselves. Reviewing essays and learning research and revision techniques in a structured one-to-one environment will help push students to their full potential.
I'm happy to do a variety of lesson lengths and times depending on what you deem to be needed but will start with a one hour session as standard.
I have some limited experience as a tutor. I am currently studying at the University of Exeter and have completed both History and Mathematics A levels with A* and A grades respectively.
My lessons are open to any students who may be approaching GCSE or A Level exam years, or even younger age groups who just need some help making these subjects an engaging and rewarding experience.
