I have a passion for mathematics and an even greater passion for teaching it. I have been on the other side of the table as a student, struggling to learn certain concepts. I know what it can be like, and I take that feeling into every lesson in order to connect with the student and give them the help they need.

I take a goal oriented approach to teaching, using real world applications to show students why they should learn a concept. In general, we would start with how the particular subject a student is struggling with can be used in the real world, and proceed to work towards the application from the ground up. My lessons will help most students, whether you are learning long division in 2nd grade or calculus in college.
