About Isaac

Hi! I'm Isaac, I'm an 18-year-old student from Liverpool. I have been a tutor for just over a year now, and have done this alongside college, being a carer, and working part-time at McDonald's. I began to become interested in languages due to my mum, who has a master's in Italian, and has previously lived there, before having my 4 brothers and coming back home. My house has always been filled with different languages, whether it was my mum praising us to our Spanish teachers on parents evening in Secondary school, or my step-dad shouting at us for dinner in Italian, so it came about naturally for me to discover my love for the French language, our house is like a little Europe crammed into one. Through almost 10 years of visiting and studying French, I am sure that I would be qualified to aid you in your studies.

About the lesson

My lessons would typically last an hour, being flexible to your syllabus, e.g. the Book/Film that you study. While still covering these texts, and focusing on them, I would be able to cover the vast range of the Language. My lessons are specifically tailored to you, focusing on boosting your strengths, whether it may be speaking or reading, and tackling the difficult stuff. The vast majority of students in my experience struggle with listening, this is just an example of something we could build on together and improve.

I am a UK student, who achieved a 9 at GCSE French and an A in A-Level. I have previous experience tutoring GCSE students during my A-Levels, and with my resources and knowledge, those students have achieved exceptional grades. My interest and passion for the language has led me to the present, in which I am studying French language in Paris. I sat my A-levels this summer (2026), so have first-hand, recent experience in the course. If you have any specific needs or requests, these can also be tailored to and due to my flexibility, my lessons would work around you.
