Hi there! I'm a passionate and experienced tutor and college student, and I'm here to help you succeed. About the lesson

My teaching method includes breaking down difficult topics into simple and digestible steps and engaging the student through questions, discussions, and real-life examples/application to deepen their understanding. A typical 1-hour lesson plan usually involves a simple warm-up, involving review and an introduction. Then diving into the core topic using examples, step-by-step breakdowns, and visuals. After I usually go into practice problems and exercises followed by a Q&A discussion to reinforce what has been covered. What sets me apart as a tutor is that I am a student too! I understand what it is like to currently be in school and balance life, academics, sports, and all classes being taken. Because of this, I am adaptable to fit the student's learning style, I have clarity and patience, and most importantly I foster a positive learning environment with encouragement and support. My teaching includes almost all learners from middle school, high school, college/university students, and adult learners. I can teach up to Calc 2 for math and nearly all science courses. For English learners and possibly Japanese learners depending on the subject.
