About Amira
I am a first year undergraduate student at the University of New South Wales. I am studying a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Education (Secondary) majoring in History.
My dream job is a secondary dual History and English teacher. I want to inspire and support my future students, educating them on how we developed as a society and showcasing the potential they have to do great things.
My favourite subject in High School was English as it provides the basis for our ability to communicate and interact. Through literary analysis and exploration, we were provided an environment to discover, create and connect.

I share my passion for the subject. Maintaining a passion for the subjects I teach ensures a positive learning environment. This leads to effective communication between tutor and student, thus increasing the potential and desire for a student to learn.
I challenge my students to reach their true potential. By challenging my students, they receive opportunities to showcase their true abilities, to understand their potential, ultimately allowing them to seek knowledge, gain confidence, learn self-discipline, and grow.
I offer 1-2 hour tutoring lessons at a lesson frequency directed by you.
I have informally tutored multiple High School students from Years 9-12. I received a 93 ATAR and a Band 6 in English Advanced, English Extension and Society and Culture. I received a high Band 5 in Modern History and Ancient History.
I specialise in Year 11-12 English and History Courses, and can provide aid in study techniques, essay writing, understand of content, help with assignments, assessments and homework as well as much more.
