About Uma
I wish to teach because I know English can be a very overwhelming subject. It can come easy for some and challenging for others, and I get that. I’ve been there myself, and I know how frustrating it can feel when things just don’t click. But I also know that with the right support, it can make a huge difference. That’s why I’m offering tutoring. To help take the pressure off and make English more understandable, no matter where you’re starting from.

As a student who’s always loved English, and I’m here to help you build your reading and writing skills in a way that’s actually easy to follow and not boring.
I keep my lessons super personalised no ‘one-size-fits-all stuff’ and we’ll focus on what you want to get better at, whether that’s understanding what you read, expanding your vocabulary, pronunciation or just feeling more confident with writing.
Because I’m still in school too, I get what it’s like! I make sure lessons are relaxed, friendly, and able to help you at your own pace.
