About Huy
A 4th-year student at ACU, currently completing my Bachelor of Teaching/Bachelor of Art. Even though I am only a Pre-Service Teacher, I have had plenty of experience teaching in a variety of learning environment. I have also been volunteering as a Youth Leader in a Youth Movement since 2014. It has provided me with the sufficient skills and knowledge to assist me in my teaching career.

Students are extremely important yet complex beings. Each student is valuable and
unique, however, they all deserve a positive learning environment that allows them to
grow in all areas of life (mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually). It is
important to allow each individual to learn and grow at their own pace in a safe and
nurturing classroom, where they feel comfortable with their teacher as well as their
peers and challenge themselves in order to improve.
Making an effort to build a rapport with my students will help them be more open to
communicate their struggles and concerns as well as their feelings and attitudes.
Through this, I am getting to know my students and their needs, as well as any other
factors that may have an effect on how my students are behaving our learning. Using
this knowledge, I can then prepare and modify my pedagogy in order to suit specific
needs of the students.
