I usually try to find where the student is at in terms of ability, their reasons for interest, and taste in music. From there I usually go into some basic groundwork theory and attempt to teach them a song through basic chords. I am also able to tutor more experienced musicians (in high-school or so on) and assist them in performances.
I am an audio engineer (doing a bachelors) going into a Masters of architectural science (audio and acoustics). I have been teaching since high school (5 years) as I have excelled in music and music theory since. I am able to give opportunity's to record in professional studios as well as play in some well known venues. I have taught multiple HSC student's and students starting to get into music young and old.
Would appreciate communication at least 24 hours prior to the lesson for there to be no issues regarding payment, I also (depending on location) would either suggest doing the lesson via video and or be compensated for travel.
