About Marina
I originally grew up in Spain and moved to Canada by the age of 14 which allows me to tutor in both Spanish and English. I have a great amount of patience and most importantly love for the subjects I teach. I like to translate how fascinating the topics we cover are to my students.
I have several years of tutoring experience, I have tutors elementary school kids, as well as high school students. I have also tough Spanish to people of ages ranging from 8 years old to 55 years old. Though out my tutoring career I have also had the chance to tutor kids with learning disabilities which has strengthen my creativity and clarity of explaining topics.

Graduated from McGill University in 2022 with a bachelors in Pharmacology and Therapeutics and is currently doing her Masters studies at McGill in Neuroscience. Great passion for all types of sciences!
Lessons usually include explanation of the material with a lot of visual diagrams. Following this, I usually have the student teach the lesson back to me since this is a great way of realizing if there is a specific topic they might be struggling with. If the students feels the need to practice the subject, I usually follow with some exercises which we can then review together.
The lessons are mainly targeted towards graduating high school students, CEGEP students or first year university students.
