About Sarah
So my name is Miss Sarah Freeman I started out in dance when I was four years old I did dance, ballet, tap, lyrical anything you can think of then I moved into competitive drill team through the city. I did that all the way up until they told me, I can’t do it no more.
As I got into middle school, I immediately tried out for the dance team made it both years learned a lot of lyrical things. I immediately tried out for the dance team made it both years learned a lot of lyrical things and I did not learn being as a young child but then I was able to incorporate and dance and then I moved up to make varsity and varsity Bell’s my freshman year. I danced all the way up until I unfortunately got an injury so my dance crew ended at that but I’m still a dancer at heart and I’m passing along to my children.
A fun fact about me I am from Texas born and raised in Mesquite. I currently reside in Midlothian, Texas, have been here for seven years, I have two children, one boy who is 12 years old Landon, and a football player. Then my little girl Skylee, who is not so little anymore she is nine and as tall as me now, but she is a fabulous soul and dancer.
We all live together in our house with her my soon to be husband, Keith , and her four cats and our one dog!

So this would be the ballet/ hip-hop Dash tap class.
First and foremost before any technique is introduced, I always introduced, I always like to start with a nice stretch. II will show them the first few weeks and then it will turn into a freestyle, but I expect that they do follow what has been taught for their safety.
From then we work on our first position second position or pointing out her toes we Gallup, we do a lot of different songs and I’ll try not to introduce too soon but if I see somebody advancing, we will definitely let them do that.
Since this is a three part class, are you typically Since this is a three-part class, I typically will do 2 to 3 examples of ballet and then we will have a water break and we will change into our hip-hop shoes if we have them and then get back into our spot.
From there I will teach them off the curriculum, but in the meantime, up until that moment, I will teach them a small hip-hop, From there I will teach them off the curriculum, but in the meantime up until that moment, I will teach them a small hip-hop routine that is going to be a surprise for all the parents not at the recital, but just something fun that they get to do.
Last but not least we will then change out of her hip-hop shoes. We will go get a drink of water and then we’ll put on her tap shoes. I will also go over the rules with the parents with the children together at one point about the tap shoes as they can be dangerous if they’re not taken care of right or handled right so we will go over that when we have a class but we will do about 4 to 5 segments of different tap dances dances.
Then, finally, I always like to recap what we’ve learned, we will clean up, pack our bags.
THEN PLAY A SUPER FUN GAME!

Did a lesson with her and man she is a great teacher/person. Makes things so much fun, and listens to my needs, and I am so ready to dance without fear!
Sarah is an amazing dancer and instructor. She loves working with the kids and being an inspiration for them. She knows her stuff!!
While she is the most out going persons, has such a compassion for teaching dance.
She can be firm, but it’s never like you see on TV.
We love her and can’t wait to go back️View more recommendations
