About Emelie
Bonjour et bienvenue ! My name is Emelie, and I’m passionate about helping students discover the joy of learning, especially when it comes to the beautiful French language. I’ve been studying French since I first started school, and over the years it has become more than just a subject for me it’s a lifelong love. I believe language is a window into culture, history, and connection. It’s incredibly rewarding for me to help learners gain the confidence to express themselves in French, whether they’re just starting out or building on existing skills. I also love working with children of all ages. I know how important it is to create a safe, encouraging, and fun environment where kids feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I take pride in my patient, adaptable approach, always making sure lessons are tailored to each student’s unique pace and learning style. There’s nothing better than seeing a child light up with understanding or pride when they master something new! Outside of tutoring, I enjoy hiking, cooking, and traveling. These hobbies help me stay creative and balanced, and I often find ways to make learning French just as engaging and relatable by weaving in cultural topics, stories, and real-world examples. As a tutor, I’m professional, dependable, and deeply committed to my students’ success. My goal is to not only help you improve your French but also to inspire confidence, curiosity, and a genuine love of learning that lasts well beyond our sessions.
