About Jasmine
I am looking for a career in Marketing/Advertising, as I am a very creative person. However, I have always loved English and reading, and I am currently helping a friend edit her book. I am also very sporty, on my university’s rugby team as well as playing tennis, running and going to the gym when I can.

I approach each topic by, first, going over the text and making sure it is understood and the student knows the events of the text and the main characters. I then focus on the main characters, taking each one individually and gathering key quotes for each one, noting them down and analysing the language meaning behind each one. This gives the student character cards which they can turn back to when they need, and key quotes they can learn for the exams. I then also explore relationships between characters, meanings and effects behind key events, as well as context points that influenced the text is the assessment objectives ask for it. However, I also make sure to focus on each student individually, focussing on where they are least comfortable and adapting my methodology so they are learning as effectively as possible.
