Even in secondary school I would always be the person who was known for putting too much time towards helping other people with their work rather than my own. To me, subjects like maths, engineering and physics came easy to me so most of my time in those classes was spent teaching my peers.

I think that teaching things as simple as possible is always the way to go. Breaking things down into their core components and making sure the student has a good understanding of the fundamentals is what allows a deeper and more advanced knowledge to form.
