About Akhila
I am Akhila, an enthusiastic teacher whose aim is to assist you in successfully closing the gap between challenging theoretical knowledge and successful academics. I have earned my Bachelor of Technology degree and am a current Master of IT student at the University of Canberra.
My teaching approach emphasizes clear understanding and professionalism as a mentor. I am especially skilled at simplifying high-level content in Mathematics, Science, and English into clear logical instructions. The result of creating a motivating learning atmosphere is that the development of your critical thinking ability becomes essential for reaching top performance levels.

I emphasize active learning, shifting away from lectures towards problem-solving and logical thinking.
Simplification of complex STEM topics by drawing analogies to everyday situations. Emphasis on problem-solving and first principles so that students know the reason behind formulas and equations, rather than memorizing them.
60 minutes (average lesson) or 90 minutes (longer, intensive sessions tailored to Grade 11 and Grade 12 exams).
I hold a Bachelor of Technology and am currently enrolled in the Master of IT course at the University of Canberra.
I have 1 year of tutoring experience working with children studying in primary and secondary schools, bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and exam preparation.
Students from Primary through Grade 12. Subjects include Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English.
