About Shoshana
I am currently studying an undergraduate degree in Economics at the University of Leeds. I decided to study Economics at university as I find it really interesting to learn about current issues and events that are relevant to our lives today.
Also, having studied both Maths and Economics at A-level, Economics was the perfect course for me to incorporate my love of both.
I was inspired to study Economics through one of my extremely enthusiastic and helpful Economics teachers at school so I understand the importance of having a teacher who shares this enthusiasm as well as their knowledge and expertise with their students.
Teaching maths gives me therefore a feeling of giving back as I understand the impact a good teacher can have on a student.

I am keen to help my students improve their maths skills through learning techniques to answer maths questions that can be applied to many different areas of maths and ensure that they have enough examples to fully understand the work they are doing. Having tutored GCSE level kids maths before, I have learnt how best to approach difficult questions with them and that the best approach is to offer them constant encouragement and guidance when needed. My maths lessons are aimed at GCSE students, although I am happy to teach lower levels if needed, and will last an hour where we will really be able to get to grips with what the student is struggling with and the best ways to tackle these issues
