About Liyana
I am currently a university student who has completed both the IB Diploma and IGCSE. I have experience working with younger students through my previous teaching role at Kumon, where I supported children in both math and English. I am patient, responsible, and committed to creating a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence at their own pace.

My teaching approach is patient, supportive, and focused on helping students build confidence in math step by step. I explain concepts in simple and easy-to-understand ways, and I encourage students to ask questions during lessons.
Lessons are usually around 1 hour long and are mainly suitable for students around ages 6–12, although I am also open to teaching older students depending on their level and the topics covered.
I focus on building strong foundational skills, helping with homework, and improving problem-solving abilities in a comfortable and encouraging learning environment.
