About Rhiannon
I'm Rhiannon, I'm 17 and I've been a swimming instructor for a year now. I do currently work at Stanford Swim School, but I no longer want to work there. I love being with children, and the reason I want to do something to do with kids, is because I want to be a primary school teacher or a child psychologist when I'm out of school. I've been swimming since I was around 14 months old, maybe younger. I want to help children learn to swim, because I feel that it's a very important skill for people to learn so they can stay safe around water.

I make sure that I talk loud enough and clear enough so they can hear me, but not too loud that scare them. If they don't understand what I've said, I will repeat myself in a way that works for the child. A lesson can go from 30 min to an hour. That is up to you! I have been a swim teacher for a year now, I have my blue card, CPR certificate and working on getting my first aid certificate.
My lessons can be for anyone from 2 years up to when they would be put in squad (or the equivalent) at an actual swim school.
