I do anything I can to help the student, whether that is going over the same problem multiple times, or letting the student identify what they need the most help on. I do the problem step by step on my own paper while the student does it on theirs, so that we can compare our work to get a better understanding.

Administration in my school says I do a great job of using academic vocabulary and breaking the problems down step by step to make them more understandable. I try to relate the work to real life so that it becomes more interesting and relatable.
