To make my classes engaging, I try to incorporate creative activities for students, for instance beginning a lesson with icebreakers. I have normally held and also prefer to hold one-on-one lessons to allow myself to completely focus on one student at a time and I believe this helps the student as well. My lessons incorporate worksheets and I use models to demonstrate concepts, for instance a lung model to explain respiratory system.
I am a undergraduate student and hoping to have a degree of Bachelors in Primary Education. My dream to become a teacher is ever since I was 5. I have tutored many students ever since I was in 7th grade, but it was always as a volunteer job as I just enjoyed helping children. Now I want to take my passion to a next level professionally.
Cost will remain $15/hour if lessons are held at my place. Prices might vary if I need to travel depending on the distance but would never go above $25/hour.
