About Xavier
I am a student studying speech pathology, with a background in linguistics and have a strong interest in languages. I've been tutoring since 2016 for various agencies across many topics, with experience working with children of various linguistic backgrounds. I have successfully improved the reading comprehension and written expression of many children. I also have experience working with adults to improve their spoken and written communication, as part of my speech pathology placements.

I assess the student's strengths and weaknesses, determine their aims for tutoring and tailor an approach based upon this information. Overall my approach would be one of patience and understanding, to meet the student at their level and work from there.
