My name is Anchala, and I'm a Data Scientist by profession but a mathematician at heart. I bring a wealth of experience and expertise to my tutoring practice.
I earned my Master's in Mathematics from the University of Connecticut, where I had the privilege of teaching calculus to first-year undergraduates. Through this experience, I developed a knack for breaking down complex concepts into digestible pieces, creating an engaging learning environment that fosters understanding and curiosity. Additionally, my time as a teaching assistant and primary instructor taught me the importance of adaptability, as I tailored my approach to meet the diverse needs of my students.
In pursuit of furthering my knowledge, I pursued a Master's in Statistics at Rutgers University, expanding my understanding of mathematical principles and their real-world applications. This dual background equips me to provide comprehensive support across a range of mathematical disciplines, from foundational algebra to advanced calculus and statistics. Outside of academia, I have a proven track record of success in tutoring high school students in mathematics.
