I am an experienced maths tutor with a master’s degree in mathematics. I am passionate about helping students understand and enjoy maths and computer science by using clear explanations, practical examples, and a supportive approach that builds confidence and problem-solving skills.

About the lesson

My maths tutoring helps students understand ideas clearly, build confidence, and get better through step by step practice made for their needs. Tutoring KS2, KS3 and KS4 children, lessons are 45 to 60 minutes based on the need.

Machin is a great Math tutor for my son who is in Y6, my son understanding of math improved dramatically. He helped him strengthen his foundations, prepare for tests, and approach problems more logically. His teaching style is clear, encouraging, and effective. I saw real results in my son’s school work . My son is very happy as he finishes his work in class faster than before as he is now more confident. We are more relaxed for the SATs thanks to Machin and highly recommend him.
