About Harrison
I am currently studying to be a Primary teacher (third year) and am looking to provide extra assistance to students in the areas I am most confident teaching (Maths and some English). I have completed placement at Melbourne schools and have plenty of experience working one on one with students in the classroom.

I believe in a student-centred lesson; wherein the lesson is adapted to suit the student and how they most effectively learn. I bring outside, relatable experiences to help ground the topic and I provide students with the tools to pave their own learning path. I believe in ensuring students truly understand the topic, as opposed to only memorising the required formula.
I will spend a portion of the first lesson simply getting to know the student; likes and dislikes, favourite subjects etc. to determine how they best learn, and use that as the basis for my lessons.
