About Linda
When taking lessons with me, you'll find a patient guide who will nevertheless always be nudging you toward improvement. I take care to ensure that the foundations are properly laid, so that you move forward with confidence. Learning to play the violin can be a long process, but we will have fun along the way. I will always offer you challenges, but never ask you to attempt tasks that are too far beyond your current skill level. In this way, you will build confidence as we explore the rich and vastly rewarding world of musical expression.

We will create a customized lesson plan together based on what you want to learn. Just want to learn the basics of how to play the violin? Are you interested in learning to read music? Perhaps you're more geared to toward fiddling, or improvisational jamming, or perhaps you'd like to prepare to be able to play classical music. Whatever your goals are, we will spend our first session discussing them, and introducing you to the foundations of violin technique.
