About Billi
I am a committed and experienced Flute instructor with over 8 years of teaching experience. I guide School students, College students, and working professionals who want to learn flute through clear instruction and structured practice.
My teaching approach emphasises strong basics and musical understanding. I focus on correct posture, breath control, finger coordination, tone clarity, rhythm accuracy, and musical expression. Lessons are customised to match each student’s goals and pace.
I believe effective learning comes from clear communication and regular practice. I explain techniques in simple words and provide step-by-step guidance. Accountability is maintained through progress tracking and regular feedback. Integrity is an important value in my teaching style.
Along with flute lessons, I also teach music theory, notation reading, rhythm exercises, and performance skills. I support students with exam preparation and stage confidence.
My unique strength is my ability to connect with learners of all ages. I create a friendly, disciplined, and inspiring learning environment for every student.

I teach flute using a methodology rooted in Communication, Creativity, and Flexibility, providing students with a fully personalised and inspiring learning journey. I begin by understanding each student’s background, goals, and skill level.
Communication is the foundation of my approach—I clearly explain techniques such as posture, breath control, finger coordination, articulation, phrasing, and sight-reading, making complex skills accessible and achievable. I encourage students to ask questions, share ideas, and actively engage with their learning process.
Creativity is an essential part of my teaching. I encourage students to explore improvisation, develop unique interpretations of pieces, and experiment with musical composition. This nurtures artistic expression while reinforcing technical mastery. Flexibility allows me to adapt lessons to the student’s pace, learning style, and interests, ensuring that every session is productive, motivating, and enjoyable.
Along with flute instruction, I teach music theory, rhythm, sight-reading, and ear training to develop well-rounded musicianship. My methodology ensures students develop technical skill, expressive performance ability, and confidence, while fostering a lifelong passion for music and a meaningful connection to their instrument.
