Degree in Fashion Design. 10 years knitting. 8 years experience in crocheting - specialising in amigurumi. Own successful crochet business for 6 years making custom toys - lots of experience in social media marketing of crocheting items. Design my own amigurumi patterns - animals, dolls and accessories, play food, mini designs and much more!

About the lesson

Hi I'm Kelli! I can give one-on-one lessons in crocheting whether you are a complete beginner, someone who has picked up crocheting after a break or someone who just wants a few tips on how to make your work unique! I like a "hands on" approach. We can pick a design of your choice you want to make (or design one together if you want to learn pattern making!) and we will both crochet the pattern during the lessons, discussing the pattern and techniques as we go! If new to crocheting we can start with learning the basic stitches and techniques, discussing needle sizes, choosing the right wool, understanding and reading patterns, sewing techniques and everything in between! We will start with small squares which we can sew together to make a small blanket before ready to move on to a bigger project! For more advanced amigurumi techniques I can show you how to crochet your own eye designs, different doll hairstyles and accessories and even how to make your toys posable!
