About Derek

I am a certified teacher with my degree in music education and education from the University of Victoria.
I have taught many students 1 on 1 and group classes. I am respectful, understanding, and want the best for you! I can teach many styles of music such as classical, rock, pop and more.

About the lesson

Learn at your own pace! Music is artistic expression through sound. If you take lessons with me, you will learn how to play guitar along with music theory which is important in understanding music.

I will design lessons based-off of what you want and what you need.
