I believe in learning by understanding, since dentistry and medicine have such vast syllabus it is impossible to retain information through rote learning. Also since we need to accurately remember what we studied throughout our life and not just for the purpose of exams! The beauty of the subjects are that they make sense and once understood, it stays imprinted and that's how I'll try to teach :)
