About Silas
Teaching guitar became the best part of my week after 13 years of playing. That Diploma of Music from JMC Academy helps me explain complex theory while keeping things grounded in real stage work. I cover strumming patterns and rhythm guitar alongside ear training and electric technique.
Reading sheet music and proper tuning or maintenance are also main parts of my approach. It feels great to see a student finally grab a rhythm that was previously tricky to master. Hope to chat about your musical goals very soon.

Since you might find it hard to play along with your favorite tracks, let us look at turning song requests into simplified arrangements. Having 13 years of gigging across Sydney and Melbourne, I use my degree to break down these songs into manageable chunks for you.
We focus on your specific electric technique and rhythm while refining your ear training through 10.0 minutes of focused practice. These sessions are designed to keep the momentum high while we work through your favorite indie hits. You get to play music that feels relevant and exciting right from the start.
